Pro-Pain is an American hardcore/metal band from New York City, founded in 1991 by vocalist and bassist Gary Meskil and drummer Dan Richardson, both former members of Crumbsuckers. Their 1992 debut 'Foul Taste of Freedom' earned them a loyal following across the international underground scene, blending hardcore punk and groove metal with blunt, politically charged lyrics. Meskil is the sole constant member across a shifting lineup; the band has released sixteen studio albums on labels including Roadrunner Records, Nuclear Blast and Napalm Records.
