Hatebreed + Life of Agony
Two American metalcore bands, Hatebreed and Life of Agony, perform together at Doornroosje. A heavy night of raw energy and intensity.
Life of Agony is an American metal band from Brooklyn, New York, founded in 1989. They broke through with their debut album 'River Runs Red' (1993) - now enshrined in the Decibel Hall of Fame - blending heavy metal with hardcore and alternative rock. Vocalist Keith Caputo (long known as Mina Caputo), guitarist Joey Z and bassist Alan Robert form the core of the band. Across six studio albums and decades of touring, Life of Agony have remained one of the most influential acts to emerge from the New York hardcore scene.
Life of Agony announced an American fall tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the album 'Ugly' (1995), with shows from September to November 2025 in the US and Europe, including Eindhoven and Utrecht.
Life of Agony co-headlined a 24-city European tour with Biohazard, which ran from February 25 to March 29, 2025 through ten countries, with a Dutch stop in The Hague.
Singer Keith Caputo announced in November 2024 via Instagram that he was detransitioning and changing his name back from Mina to Keith Caputo.
Life of Agony performed at the Alcatraz Festival 2024 in Belgium.
The band released the non-album single 'The Crow (In Memory of B.L.)' in 2024.
