About

Dimitri Malignan (born Paris, 1998) is a French-Romanian pianist best known as the founder of the Missing Voices project, dedicated to rediscovering music by Jewish composers murdered during the Holocaust. He trained at the École Normale de Musique in Paris, where in 2017, at nineteen, he became the youngest ever winner of the Prix Cortot, and also studied at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. In Amsterdam he co-founded the Bosmans and Beyond Ensemble, which champions Dutch women composers, and his album devoted to Daniël Belinfante contains the first-ever recordings of that composer's work.

    On 5 October 2026, Malignan gives a piano recital at Splendor Amsterdam around the CD presentation of his album about Daniël Belinfante, 'Et in Arcadia Ego'.
