About the venue

The Uilenburgersjoel is one of Amsterdam's oldest synagogues, built in 1766 on the former island of Uilenburg in the Jewish Quarter. After serving as a warehouse for much of the twentieth century, the building was restored and now hosts cultural events, concerts and commemorations.
