Sunday Sessions | Jesse Wolf
On Saturday, 18 October, singer-songwriter Jesse Wolf performs at Xinix in Nieuwendijk. He brings a set of original material, complemented by country classics and Americana favourites that have shaped him as an artist.
Jesse Wolf spent years on major Dutch stages and worked behind the scenes for various Dutch artists. He was previously part of the rockabilly band Liptease, which reached the final of Holland's Got Talent in 2014. After the band disbanded, he picked up the acoustic guitar and developed himself as a singer-songwriter, inspired by artists such as Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Charley Pride and Elvis Presley.
In Sweden, Jesse worked with producer Ruben van der Velden on his debut album "Dollars into Dimes". The songs, written over a period of several years, revolve around love, loss, freedom, hope and life on the road.
Fans of Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Blaze Foley and Colter Wall are welcome.
