About: Yuri Honing Acoustic Quartet

The Yuri Honing Acoustic Quartet is a Dutch jazz ensemble built around saxophonist Yuri Honing. Known for his lyrical tone and his ability to weave pop influences into contemporary jazz, Honing leads this acoustic group through intimate, melody-driven sets.

About: Yuri Honing

Yuri Honing is a Dutch jazz saxophonist known for his lyrical playing and his ability to bridge jazz with poetry and other genres. He has collaborated with musicians including Vince Mendoza and Norma Winstone, earning a distinctive voice in the European jazz scene. His nickname "the Nick Cave of jazz" points to the dark, emotionally charged quality of his music.

About: Wolfert Brederode

With a poetic touch and a gift for subtle contrast, Wolfert Brederode has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices in Dutch jazz. His four ECM albums - crowned by the Edison Jazz Award-winning Ruins and Remains - trace a musical world where jazz, chamber music and folk meet on his own terms.
