Hudson Freeman is a lo-fi folk artist from Brooklyn, shaped by the DIY scene of the American Midwest. When he was thirteen, he moved with his parents from the suburbs of Dallas to Eswatini, a profound transition that set him writing.
During his studies in Missouri, inspired by indie artists like Sufjan Stevens and Bon Iver, he developed his own DIY style. After graduating and the pandemic, he settled in Brooklyn, where his music began to take shape.
In his songs, Hudson explores themes of religion, moral doubt, fleeting friendships, and the search for a place to call home.
