Clean Pete - Parelvissers

Clean Pete - sisters Loes and Renée Wijnhoven - present a programme of original songs and arrangements of classical music. They have previously appeared on Podium Klassiek and NPO Radio 4.

Classical works such as the duet from Georges Bizet's The Pearl Fishers and the Flower Duet from Léo Delibes' Lakmé take on new life in their hands. Original numbers like Systeem and Karma - indie, pop or cabaret, call it what you will - alternate melancholy with humour, featuring personal lyrics and melodies that linger.
