Loes Wijnhoven and her twin sister Renée make up the Nijmegen-based duo Clean Pete. Both trained at the Maastricht Conservatory, and together they write Dutch-language songs that sit between indie pop and kleinkunst, with Loes on guitar and Renée on cello. Four albums on Excelsior Recordings and appearances at Pinkpop, Down The Rabbit Hole and Into The Great Wide Open mark their career. Rolling Stone named their Christmas album Gloria one of the best of 2019.
