Renée Wijnhoven is one half of Dutch pop duo Clean Pete, which she forms with her twin sister Loes. She plays cello, studied philosophy alongside music, and works as a classical programmer at Concertgebouw De Vereeniging in Nijmegen. The duo has released five albums on Excelsior Recordings and performed at major Dutch festivals including Pinkpop and Down The Rabbit Hole. Their Christmas album Gloria (2019) was named one of the best Christmas albums of that year by Rolling Stone.
Clean Pete announced a full Christmas show tour for December 2026, at Theater Rotterdam, Paradiso, TivoliVredenburg and five other venues.
The Christmas Show 2025 concluded with a sold-out concert at TivoliVredenburg on 23 December.
Clean Pete released the Christmas album Winternacht on Excelsior Recordings, the successor to Gloria (2019).
Clean Pete released the single/EP Systeem via Excelsior Recordings.
The annual Christmas Show played sold-out in LantarenVenster Rotterdam in 2024 and 2025, after which the duo moved to the larger Theater Rotterdam for 2026.
