Clean Pete

About

Clean Pete is a Dutch duo formed by twin sisters Loes and Renée Wijnhoven (b. 1990) from Nijmegen, both trained at the Conservatorium Maastricht. They perform in two-part harmony, accompanying themselves on guitar and cello, with a sound that sits between indie pop, singer-songwriter and Dutch kleinkunst. Alongside original material they arrange classical works - appearances on the TV programme Podium Klassiek and NPO Radio 4 followed - and their 2019 Christmas album Gloria was named one of the year's best by Rolling Stone.
