Mouflon is an oldschool death metal band that has combined death and doom metal since 2012. Following Devastations (2018) and Pure Filth (2022), the singles Grim Fate and BOCC were released in 2024. The third album Eros and Thanatos is coming in 2026. The music combines shredding riffs, heavy drums and the singer's roar with slow passages, macabre atmosphere and sudden bursts of speed. The lyrics focus on disease and perversion beneath the surface of human nature.
Canyon Literature plays deathcore with slam, technical metal and core elements mixed together. On the EP Necrodementia (November 2025), the band explores how many extreme metal components fit into one sound. Hard, technical and deliberately excessive, but always aimed at energy and physical impact.
Arteria is a death-groove metal band from Almere, founded in December 2024 by guitarist Ocean Silbernberg and drummer Karsten Findeneg - both from heavy metal band Invain. With vocalist Justin Auf der Springe, bassist Julian De Potter and guitarist Ciske van Luit, the line-up is complete. The music draws from death metal and groove metal, but also incorporates influences from metalcore, deathcore, progressive metal and black metal. Heavy riffs, complex rhythms and melodic passages alternate without a fixed song formula.
Stilte is a black metal band from South Holland, started as a solo project by Sander Zuidweg and since 2025 developed into a full live line-up. The band plays raw, nihilistic black metal rooted in the second wave of the genre, with lyrics in both English and Dutch.
