Primitive Ring (USA) + Whippets (USA)

Primitive Ring is a new band featuring three names from the LA underground: Bert Hoover (Hooveriii, GROOP), Jon Modaff (JModaff, Hooveriii, GROOP), and Charles Moothart (Fuzz, GØGGS).

The band builds on what these musicians have been doing for years in the garage and psych scene. Expect raw guitars, tight rhythms, and psychedelic excursions drawing from garage, kraut, and classic rock influences. If you caught Hooveriii when they played VERA in 2024, you have a sense of what's coming.
