In 2023 they won the VERA Poll, and in 2026 Tramhaus remains a firm audience favourite. The Rotterdam five-piece now plays festivals and venues much larger than VERA - but they return to Groningen twice this winter nonetheless.

Their music moves between post-punk, shoegaze and punk, and their live show always balances on the edge. Intense and energetic, without frills.

Tramhaus announces second album 'Blister' with debut single 'Plovdiv'; the album will be released on 9 October 2026 via a coalition of six independent European labels.

'The First Exit' received attention from BBC 6 Music, KEXP and Iggy Pop; 'Blister' is being recorded at GAM Studio in the Belgian Ardennes and released via Subroutine Records (NL), Vicious Circle (FR), Siluh Records (AT) and three other labels.

Tramhaus performs on 13 June at Best Kept Secret and then starts an extensive international tour, with Dutch shows in December and February.
