LAWN (GRN/FRL) + MOMSNAME (NL)
LAWN was founded in 1998 and gradually evolved from space and stoner rock towards indie and post-rock, never abandoning its dynamic guitar sound. The band released three albums, with Backspace opening doors to venues and festivals across the Netherlands. After extensive touring with their final album Silver (2009), they fell silent for over sixteen years.
Now LAWN returns to the stage in the line-up of Job, Titus, André and Sietse. Until autumn 2025, a comeback seemed unlikely to everyone, including the band members themselves. On 19 November they take the stage at their home venue VERA, performing earlier material alongside new songs that apparently had to be written.
Leeuwarder band MOMSNAME opens the show. They blend alt-rock with shoegaze, emo and mathrock influences, creating performances where visuals, scenography and spoken word converge - contrasting dreamy calm with raw intensity.
