The Homesick from Dokkum has been making alternative music on its own terms for over a decade. The trio moves between post-punk, new wave, art rock and experimental pop, and demonstrates on each album that it has left its previous approach behind.

From the baroque post-punk of The Big Exercise to the synth-driven, untitled album from 2023: the band never stands still. Influences from Yellow Magic Orchestra, disco and distinctive new wave come together in sharp melodies, angular guitar lines and pulsing electronics.
