Tō Yō (JPN) + support

Tō Yō comes straight from Tokyo's underground and pays little heed to genre boundaries. The band moves between brooding, heavy psychedelia and hypnotic krautrock grooves, with experimentation and improvisation as constant companions.

During European tours in 2024 and 2025, they played festivals like SonicBlast Fest and Freak Valley Festival. In autumn 2026, their second studio album will be released - the first in three years.

If you expect a well-defined sound, you're in the wrong place: Tō Yō prefers to derail, distort and dig deeper into their own territory.
