'Valentino' by Vlinders & Co

On Sunday, 21 March 2027, Vlinders & Co presents the puppet show 'Valentino' at Theater Landgraaf.

Frog Valentino has no brothers or sisters and is a bit spoiled at home. His mother always calls him 'my little prince', and Valentino believes it wholeheartedly. When his friends laugh at him and eventually refuse to play with him, he decides to search for the princess who lives in the castle in the mountains - together with his little bird Lakei. The story is about friendship and acceptance.

The performance is staged with puppets in a 'book' format, with scenes unfolding one after another. The production has won numerous awards, including the Golden Star First Price Children Jury Award (Slovenia, 1997), a Golden 'Moubarak' Award (Iran, 1998), the Special Jury Award at the 3rd Festival of Marionette Art in Prague (1999), and the Best Actor Award at the 5th Festival of Marionette Art in Prague (2001).
