Saturday Concert at Grote Kerk

Throughout the summer of 2026, Saturday concerts are held at Grote Kerk in Vlaardingen, continuing a tradition from previous years. The concert begins at 15:15 and includes a break with coffee and tea. Admission is free.

On Saturday, 19 September 2026, organist Norbert Bartelsman performs. He has played the organs at Stevenskerk in Nijmegen and St. Bavo in Haarlem, given concerts abroad - including France, Germany and Sweden - and appears regularly on various recordings and as a continuo player in passions and oratorios.

Since 2024, Grote Kerk has been deconsecrated and will be converted into a library and community space after October 2026. The monumental organ will retain a permanent place, and concerts around the organ will continue.
