Marlon Pichel

On Saturday, 28 November, Marlon Pichel returns to De Kroepoekfabriek in Vlaardingen. The Rotterdam-based musician moves between soul and rock-'n-roll, performing as a singing drummer with a raw, soulful voice.

In 2025 he performed with his seven-piece band at more than 35 festivals. He has received attention on Radio Veronica, Radio 538, VPRO On Stage with Ilse DeLange, and RTL Late Night with Humberto Tan. He signed with PDM (Danny Vera's label) and collaborates with Excelsior and Friendly Fire. His first club tour sold out completely.

His new album was recorded according to the authentic STAX Records specifications from the late 1960s - a sound that is classic and powerful, yet surprisingly fresh at the same time.
