De Plaag + Gijsjaradijsja + LE MOTAT

On Friday, 4 December, De Plaag, Gijsjaradijsja and LE MOTAT take the stage at De Kroepoekfabriek in Vlaardingen. A triple bill featuring electro pop, punk, hip-hop, cabaret, indie bangers and emotional ballads.

De Plaag is a Dutch-language electro/punk band that combines poetry with a raw edge: brutal where it can be, tender where it must. Stark chaos in the dark - a show that sticks with you like a hickey on your neck.

Gijsjaradijsja brings a kind of cabaret and punk, but existential. Fifteen years ago he drew an unexpectedly large audience with obscure Pokémon parodies on YouTube; these days he performs with a band of five overpowered nerds with suspiciously extensive stage experience. Drums, bass, guitar, keys and digital accordion - loud and fast.

LE MOTAT is named after a nocturnal moth and makes music for exactly that kind of people: night owls. Somewhere in a dark alley between Spinvis, André Hazes and Goldband, he writes and produces indie bangers and emotional ballads that are as poetic as they are direct - not in French, but in the language of love.
