From 09:00 to 18:50, the semi-finals of the Globe International Piano Competition (GIPC) for categories A, B and C will be held. Thirty semi-finalists aged 6 to 17 - selected through a rigorous international video pre-selection - will perform: 10 candidates per age category. Participants come from around the world and are staying in hotels and host families in Hilversum.

The fifth edition of the GIPC takes place from 26 to 28 March 2027 at Heuvellaan Hilversum. Young pianists up to age 21 perform in four age categories with free repertoire. From the forty selected semi-finalists, a maximum of twelve pianists will reach the final on Sunday 28 March. The other age categories will be heard on Saturday 27 March.

The exact daily schedule will be announced once the candidates have been selected - that will be at the end of January.
