GIPC Semi-Final Category D

Ten pianists from around the world compete in the semi-final of the Globe International Piano Competition (GIPC) in Category D - participants aged 18 to 21, selected through an international video pre-selection. Each candidate performs a 30-minute programme spread across the afternoon from 12:30 to 19:30, with breaks in between.

The exact programme will be announced once the candidates are selected - expected at the end of January.

The GIPC takes place from 26 to 28 March 2027 at Heuvellaan Hilversum and is in its fifth edition. In total, forty pianists are selected for the live semi-finals, divided across four age categories (from 9 years and under to 21 years), with free choice of repertoire. A maximum of twelve will reach the final on Sunday 28 March. The other age categories can be heard on Saturday 27 March.
