10 Years of Christmas with Stippenlift

Ten years ago, Stippenlift debuted with "Huilen (Kerst)" and gave voice to complex Christmas feelings. In December, the artist returns to Simplon with a full collection of Christmas hits and their accompanying social anxieties.

"10 Years of Christmas with Stippenlift" is the outing for everyone who dislikes outings, dislikes people, dislikes Christmas - yet simultaneously loves Christmas, people and outings deeply, or feels the potential to become such a person.

Since the first release Gemiste Kansen vol. 1 in 2016, Stippenlift has been releasing new depriwave at high frequency: the self-proclaimed genre that has taken on a life of its own. Through Stippenlift, singer and producer Hugo van de Poel shares his lifelong struggle with depression and life in a neurotypical world. The 'hits' include songs titled Huilen, Autisme, Was Ik Maar Dood or Euthanasie?! Few artists manage to bring so much misery with such energy and enthusiasm.
