Stippenlift is the music project of Dutch singer and producer Hugo van de Poel. Since his debut in 2016 he has been releasing what he calls "depriwave" - a self-coined genre that channels depression and everyday gloom into accessible pop. His Christmas single "Huilen (Kerst)" has become something of a cult favourite.
Stippenlift offers an interactive concert where the audience decides what they hear. Theater Utrecht explores accessibility, neurodiversity, and how live music can become more inclusive.
