About

Stippenlift is the music project of Amsterdam-based singer and producer Hugo van de Poel. Since 2016 he has released what he calls 'depriwave' - minimal electropop with Dutch-language lyrics about depression, social anxiety and the emotional void around Christmas. His music is recommended by some psychologists for people dealing with serious depression, and he has collaborated with Faberyayo of De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig on two joint albums.
