On 26 February 2027, Yīn Yīn takes the stage at Muziekgieterij with their fourth album Yatta!. The Maastricht-based band blends Italo disco from the late 1970s and 1980s with Asian influences - think Japanese soul-funk with a koto, or the disco version of a Thai spaghetti western.

The quartet - Erik Bandt (guitar), Kees Berkers (drums), Jerôme Scheren (keyboards) and Remy Scheren (bass) - started with a jam session in a ballet school, which led to their debut album The Rabbit That Hunts Tigers. Through The Age Of Aquarius (2022) and Mount Matsu (2024), they built toward this fourth album.

Along the way they have played at venues like Paradiso, Lowlands, North Sea Jazz and Fuji Rock. Yatta! alternates dance floor fillers with quieter material.
