Wrest combines poetic lyrics with driven guitars to create Edinburgh indie rock comparable to Frightened Rabbit, Snow Patrol, The National and Idlewild.

In 2024, the band released the album Everything's Nothing Forever Again, which reached new heights on Spotify and built a growing fanbase worldwide. They have since played sold-out headline shows across Germany and the Netherlands, with tour plans for Australia and the United States.
