Iskander Moon is a Belgian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer with a classical background. As a teenager, he toured Europe with the choir ensemble Collegium Vocale Gent and studied classical piano for six years at MUDA in Gent. His music moves between artists like Tom Odell, Jamie Callum and James Bay, but also Paolo Nutini, Sufjan Stevens and Coldplay - and if you listen closely, you'll hear Bach and Debussy too.

For extended periods he moved to New York, Berlin, Boston and Florence, where he immersed himself in the local music scenes and performed in singer-songwriter cafés. Those experiences resulted in richly orchestrated alternative pop, in which he combines his warm tenor voice with his background as a classical pianist, composer, bassist and rock singer.

His debut single Saturday Silence immediately broke through on Belgian radio and gathered hundreds of thousands of streams, laying the foundation for his EP Are You Lost Here? - good for airplay, sold-out shows and performances at home and abroad. On 20 February his debut album Salt Moon City was released, a personal record that grew from different places and moments and captures his love for travel, coming home and starting anew.
