LIES! + Boneripper + Deafened to Death

Three hardcore metal bands take the stage at Simplon this evening.

Boneripper is a metallic hardcore band from northern Netherlands, formed by (former and current) members of Manu Armata, 13Steps and Bladecrusher. Their sound: heavy riffs, brutal grooves and fierce vocals, straight at you.

LIES! combines the aggression of 1990s hardcore with the urgency of more modern acts. Groove, power and confrontation are central, with influences from bands like Merauder, Terror and All Out War through to Speed, Whispers and Scarab. Since their return in 2022, they have steadily built a place in the European hardcore scene - with hundreds of thousands of streams and live shows that night after night draw new audiences.

Deafened to Death comes from Leeuwarden and started in 2020 as a side project of Dylan Luci Wolters (guitar) and Olav Spin (bass), both known from the grinding deathcore band Kletus. Drummer Jim Smit joined shortly after, and with frontman Arend Rondaan the debut album was recorded, released in summer 2024. Early 2025 saw the single "Top Dog". The band draws from hardcore, thrash metal, groove metal, death metal and power violence.
