Badhûs Metal Meeting vol. 2: Boneripper, Insurrection, Written In Blood and Deafened To Death

The second edition of the Badhûs Metal Meeting brings four bands from the northern underground together in De Westereen.

Opening the night is hardcore band Deafened To Death from Leeuwarden, featuring members of Kletus, Polter and Insurrection. Since their formation in 2023, they have already played 36 shows. Next up is Written In Blood, the old-school death metal band of Bert 'Beef' Hoving (ex-God Dethroned). Drawing influences from Bolt Thrower, Hypocrisy and Unleashed, the Drenthe-based band has been playing the Dutch, Belgian and German club circuit since 2019. Their new EP 'The Final War' comes out in October, and they will perform several tracks from it this evening.

Insurrection from Ljouwert has nearly 140 shows across Europe under their belt and has shared the stage with Bloodbath, Hypocrisy, Cradle Of Filth, Suffocation and Destruction. The melodeath/thrash band has also appeared at festivals including Into The Grave, Mise Open Air (DE), Roosendaal Open Air, Stonehenge and Tolminator (SLO). They recently released a cassette with bonus tracks. Headliner Boneripper hails from Harns, with members from 13Steps, Manu Armata and Bladecrusher. Their full-length album 'Radiant In Ruin' was released earlier this year.
