Description was written before the event

On 15 October, Bibliotheek de Lage Beemden organizes a literary café at the Eendracht in Gemert, with writer Adriaan van Dis as guest.

About: Adriaan van Dis

For over forty years Van Dis has written about identity, colonial history and the pull of travel, giving his novels a personal depth that resonates far beyond the Netherlands. At readings and festivals he brings the same sharp interviewer's instinct and candour that have made him one of the most recognisable voices in Dutch literature.
