Dub Club Breda #5 | Roots, Reggae, Dub & Steppers with Food Bass Shelter Soundsystem

Dub Club Breda returns on 17 October 2026 for its fifth edition, this time hosting Food Bass Shelter Soundsystem as the featured guest.

Food Bass Shelter Soundsystem is a reggae soundsystem from The Hague, founded in 2013 by Iskander and Serge. They play exclusively vinyl and move through a broad spectrum - from roots to steppers and their own dubplate productions - as long as the tune carries a serious message and its own sound.

Line-up:

Fada Jep ft. King Lova (Eindhoven) - Fada Jep is the founder of Crucial Sounds, a conscious roots and reggae soundsystem that has been operating from Eindhoven for over 25 years. Fada Jep handles the decks as selecta; King Lova provides the microphone.

UNISOUND - established in the Holy Hearth Church in Breda, a squatted church that served as a creative free space for roots, reggae and dub. Founding member Derk brings deep musical knowledge and keeps the original soundsystem spirit alive.

Nomad & Isaac - the organizers of Dub Club Breda. Both have been familiar with soundsystem culture since youth and made it their mission to bring it to Breda.
