Every Sunday, Poppodium Phoenix hosts an open jam session, this week led by Daniël Groenenboom. Musicians of all levels, genres and ages are welcome to take the stage - whether you want to play along or just watch.

Daniël Groenenboom is a familiar face at Phoenix, where he regularly works the sound desk or lighting console. As session leader, he brings bass guitar and electric guitar, with a preference for metal, hardcore and distortion - but all genres are warmly welcome.

Joining is simple: sign up with the session leader and let him know if you want to play a cover or prefer to improvise. He'll connect you with other musicians. You can bring your own instrument, but Phoenix also has a wide range available: pianos, keyboards, microphones, guitars, bass guitars, drum kits, percussion and a double bass.
