Sunday Jamsession | Hosted by Anthony Alders

Every Sunday, Poppodium Phoenix hosts a jam session for musicians of all levels, genres and ages. Whether you want to play or just listen - everyone is welcome.

Sign up with the session leader during the event. They'll help you onto the stage, connect you with other musicians, and ask whether you'd prefer to play a cover or improvise. You can bring your own instrument, but Phoenix also has plenty available: pianos, keyboards, microphones, guitars, bass guitars, drum kits, percussion and a double bass.

This week Anthony Alders is leading the session. Anthony plays bass, guitar and drums, and loves experimenting with different sounds and genres. His taste ranges from Iron Maiden and De Staat to Tyler, the Creator and Jamiroquai, with a preference for rock and metal. As a regular volunteer, he's a familiar face at Phoenix.
