Marij & Kornelis and Big Band Ravenstein

Marij van den Boom and Kornelis Lievense perform 'Nog meer Wrijving', a musical cabaret programme about relationships, shame, regret, sex and the daily confusion between men and women. With original Dutch-language songs, sharp humour and group singing, they show that friction often provides the best inspiration.

After the cabaret, Big Band Ravenstein takes over: 18 musicians led by Rob van Reijmersdal play a repertoire of swing, jazz, funk, ballads and classics - from Count Basie to Frank Sinatra, from modern jazz to pop. Regular vocalist Marij van den Boom is also present for this part of the evening.
