Trafassi

Trafassi was founded in 1981 by Edgar Bugru Burgos with the aim of bringing more colour to Dutch pop music. They quickly succeeded: in 1984 they scored a major hit with 'Wasmasjien' (Kleine Wasjes, Grote Wasjes).

Followed by tracks such as 'Banana', 'Pum Pim Sexy Body', 'Punani', 'Lollypop', 'Rije Rije', 'Stuiver Dubbeltje' and 'Waka Waka'. The band collaborated with established names and provided musical expertise to newer artists such as Keizer, Sevn Alias and De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig.
