About: Marlijn Weerdenburg

Trained at the Amsterdam Theatre School, Weerdenburg built her name in major musicals and TV series before turning to her own theatre concerts. In 'Geworteld' she takes the stage solo with new material co-written with fellow artists, centred on the question of what home really means.

Marlijn Weerdenburg goes on tour on 13 September 2026 with her new theatre concert 'Geworteld', which runs until 26 February 2027.

From 28 July 2026, Weerdenburg will be seen as the new presenter of the Omroep MAX programme 'We zijn er Bijna!' on NPO 1, as successor to Martine van Os.

Omroep MAX announced in April 2026 that Weerdenburg takes over the presentation of 'We zijn er Bijna!' from Martine van Os, who presented the programme for fifteen years.
