Marlijn Weerdenburg (Schiedam, 1983) is a Dutch actress, singer and TV presenter who became widely known for the title role in the television series Danni Lowinski (2013-2016). She trained at the Amsterdam Theatre School and Kleinkunst Academy, and has built a career spanning theatre, television and music - from the musical Soldaat van Oranje to her own theatre concerts. In 2019 she launched her solo show 'Marlijn zingt', and in 2026 she followed it with 'Geworteld', a theatre concert in which she explores the theme of home and belonging alongside fellow artists including Daniel Lohues, Danny Vera and Tania Kross.
Marlijn Weerdenburg goes on tour on 13 September 2026 with her new theatre concert 'Geworteld', which runs until 26 February 2027.
From 28 July 2026, Weerdenburg will be seen as the new presenter of the Omroep MAX programme 'We zijn er Bijna!' on NPO 1, as successor to Martine van Os.
Omroep MAX announced in April 2026 that Weerdenburg takes over the presentation of 'We zijn er Bijna!' from Martine van Os, who presented the programme for fifteen years.
In April 2025, Weerdenburg presented the Musical Awards Gala 2025 together with Frits Sissing, live from the AFAS Theater in Leusden on NPO 1.
In May 2026, Weerdenburg was seen as a guest reviewer in the RTL 4 programme Stars on Stage.
