Bombino is a Tuareg guitarist from Niger renowned for his powerful live shows and a style he calls 'Tuareggae' - desert guitars woven with reggae rhythms.

With albums like 'Nomad' and 'Azel', he built a distinctive sound that blends tradition with modern influences. His 2018 album 'Deran' earned him worldwide recognition and a Grammy nomination - the first artist from Niger ever to receive one.

On 11 November he performs at Muziekgieterij in Maastricht.
