Abel

FilmToen screens the film Abel (1986), directed by Alex van Warmerdam, who also stars alongside Annet Malherbe.

The 31-year-old Abel still lives at home, much to the concern of his father Victor. His mother Duif sees no problem with it and indulges Abel generously. When mother and son buy a television together, Victor's patience runs out - and Abel is thrown out onto the street.
