Sentimental Value

Sentimental Value is a 2025 film directed and co-written by Joachim Trier, starring Renate Reinsve, Stellan Skarsgård and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas.

Agnes and her sister Nora, an actress, process the loss of their mother. Then their father Gustav suddenly reappears after a long absence - once a celebrated director, now with a new film script in hand. He offers Nora the lead role, but she refuses.
