The History of Sound

De Cultuurschuur screens "The History of Sound", a 2025 film by director Oliver Hermanus, starring Paul Mescal, Josh O'Connor and Chris Cooper.

The story follows two young men who travel across America during World War I to record folk songs. As they capture music and gather stories, a quiet but intense bond forms between them - and they search for beauty in sound while the world around them changes irrevocably.
