About: Ensemble Nist-Nah

Will Guthrie's Nantes-based percussion collective pairs a full Javanese gamelan with drum kits and assorted percussion, drawing threads between Indonesian musical tradition, free jazz, noise and contemporary composition. Their third album, Spilla, came out on Black Truffle Records in June 2025.

Stockholm-based Mancunian Jon Collin plays guitar in a way that has little to do with pop music: his pieces grow from blues and folk into drone, noise and silence, recorded with a strong sense of place and texture. His extensive catalogue - spread across Early Music, Feeding Tube and Discreet Music - spans solo work, collaborations with Demdike Stare and recent recordings with Australian duo Troth.
