Jon Collin is an English guitarist from Manchester, now based in Stockholm, who takes blues as a starting point and pulls it apart with drones, feedback, loaded silences and DIY recording methods - often captured on tape outdoors. His records appear on small independent labels including his own Early Music and Winebox Press imprints, as well as Feeding Tube and Discreet Music. Alongside a prolific solo output he has collaborated with Demdike Stare across three albums and with the Tasmanian duo Troth.
Jon Collin released a live recording of his concert in Guelph (Canada) in October 2025, exclusively for Bandcamp subscribers.
Devotion Objects, the debut album of the collaboration between Troth and Jon Collin, was released on 15 November 2024 on the label A Colourful Storm.
