Slot Zuylen is one of the best-preserved medieval castles in the Netherlands, sitting on the bank of the river Vecht in Oud-Zuilen. Its current appearance is largely shaped by sixteenth- and seventeenth-century rebuilding, and the castle remained in the hands of the Van Tuyll van Serooskerken family for centuries.
