Slot Zuylen is one of the best-preserved medieval castles in the Netherlands, sitting on the bank of the river Vecht in Oud-Zuilen. Its current appearance is largely shaped by sixteenth- and seventeenth-century rebuilding, and the castle remained in the hands of the Van Tuyll van Serooskerken family for centuries. Guided tours take visitors through the authentically furnished rooms, and the castle can also be hired for private events and weddings.
