Montis, Goudsmit & Strik

Hammond organist Frank Montis, guitarist Anton Goudsmit and drummer Chris Strik join forces. All three are established figures in the Dutch jazz scene.

Goudsmit gained international recognition through New Cool Collective and The Ploctones and received the Boy Edgar Prize. Montis is known for his grooving bass lines and energetic organ sound. Strik is a sought-after drummer who also plays with The Preacher Men and feels at home in both jazz and pop.

Together they play a mix of jazz, funk, soul and free improvisation, with interaction and the joy of playing at the centre.
