Popronde: JLK & _heART.felt and Kidd Nebula & The Voodoo-Funk Conspiracy

Popronde - the Netherlands' largest touring festival - arrives in Dordrecht on Saturday, October 17. Walk freely between churches, record shops, galleries, cafés and music venues in the city centre, with a hundred selected acts spread across town.

At Muziekpodium DJS, two funky acts take the stage.

JLK & _heART.felt (21:00)
Since 2024, JLK has been building a soul movement from Rotterdam with live band _heART.felt. Falsetto-driven vocals, influences from D'Angelo and Prince, and a blend of neo-soul, funk, R&B and electronic music. The band has previously played at North Sea Round Town and through the RoffAvant platform.

Kidd Nebula & The Voodoo-Funk Conspiracy (22:30)
This Dutch Space Cowboy combines alternative jazz with psychedelic funk and hip-hop. With his six-piece band, Kidd Nebula - inspired by Prince, Funkadelic/Parliament, Jamiroquai and James Brown - delivers a danceable and cosmic set. In 2025, The Kiddz released the EP BAD CHI and toured Europe, including Prague, Zagreb and Budapest. They have previously opened for Primaat and international acts such as Boukou Groove (USA), High Fade (SCO) and Prince's bassist Ida Nielsen.
