JLK & _heART.felt is a Rotterdam-based soul and funk project led by singer/songwriter/producer Jermaine Lunark1d, formerly the frontman of synth-soul band The Lunar Energy. Together with guitarist and producer Stenly Bernasco - co-founder of the soul/funk band Omani - he brings his solo work to the stage through the band/collective _heART.felt, blending neosoul, R&B, jazz and hip-hop with psychedelic and electronic textures. Jermaine trained at the Abbey Road Institute and during the pandemic founded the Mooncave production platform, focused on writing and producing for other artists.
JLK & _heART.felt is on the line-up of Popronde 2026 in Dordrecht, on 17 October at Muziekpodium DJS.
JLK & _heART.felt has been selected for Popronde 2026, the largest touring festival in the Netherlands.
The single 'Make Up Sex' will be released in May 2025 as a preview of the EP Sugarcoated Echoes.
JLK & _heART.felt makes his stage debut during a BIRDsession at jazz venue BIRD in Rotterdam on 19 June 2024.
