Firtan + Bezwering

On 16 October, Firtan and Bezwering take the stage at Musicon in Den Haag. Doors open at 20:00, the concert starts at 20:30 and ends around 23:00.

FIRTAN has been active in the German extreme metal scene for over ten years. Starting from the raw energy of 90s black metal, the band evolved into a more progressive act combining aggressive guitars, furious rhythms and intense vocals with melancholic and experimental elements. Acoustic and electric violin are integral parts of their compositions; dulcimer and analogue synthesizers add extra depth. On their fourth album Ethos, released via AOP Records, the band explores existential themes through sharp contrasts between harmony and dissonance, heaviness and vulnerability.

Bezwering was formed in 2018 from the ashes of WEDERGANGER. The Gelderland-based band describes their style as "Gueldrian Undeath Metal": an extreme form of metal in which death, decay and regional mysticism are central.
